Nano- transport

What is this?
Tuesday, February 2, 2010

             Scientists have made regular progress towards the creation of nano- transport. The emergence of transport at the nanoscale has long puzzled scientists, because like a new era in the field of technocratic development of mankind. And it promises a truly multi-faceted opportunities:

• nano- transport, able to seek out in the human malignant tumors (cancer, etc.) and destroy them delivered special preparations,  then break down into harmless components. The usual introduction of drugs, only one molecule of a hundred thousand reaches the goal, while the nano- transport in membrane protein increases the efficiency of two orders of magnitude. Also this will undo the very painful radiation and chemotherapy. Nano- transport has the advantage over the immune system, as covered by a special protective material, and therefore without the risk of detection of protective forces (phagocytes) moves through the body. He can unite and destroy the tissue, to synthesize new, in fact, is a way to constantly rejuvenate the human, replicating all of its tissues. Also nano- transport can be used to treat diabetes, studies of the abdominal cavity, brain aneurysm, cancer, biosecurity of toxic substances;

• nano- transport can destroy hazardous waste and prepare the necessary infrastructure for living people on other planets, where nanorobots will be artificial food producers, circumplanetary fill the space and made fit for human atmosphere of planets and their moons. Can be used in electronics to create mini devices or electric circuits - This technique is called molecular nano assembly (in the future, any assembly at the factory of the components can be replaced by a simple assembly of atoms), etc.

            It is interesting to note that the human body itself suggests the idea of nano-robots, because it has many natural nano mechanisms: a lot of neutrophils, lymphocytes, and white blood cells are constantly operating in the body, repairing damaged tissues, destroying invading microorganisms and removing foreign particles from different organs.
            In the results of scientific experiments, presented Davidom Ericksonom article “Optical manipulation of nanoparticles and biomolecules in sub-wavelength slot waveguides”[journal Nature from 1 january 2009, 71-75], shown how to use the optical channel, which passes the light with a wavelength of 1550nm can be a trap "subchannel" or "waveguide". With the help of the waveguide, λ which 60nm, you can capture the nano-particles, such as λ-DNA and to control their movement in it. To show that the trap has is entirely optical effect, not hydrodynamic, the optical power is removed, then nano-particles is released. These results suggest that using optical tweezers can be supplied drugs nano-particles directly into malignant tumors, etc. Of course while this passive nano-transport, but though...
